  • Maximum lift without locking 1-1/4"
  • Built in safety catch
  • Portable
  • Made in the USA

Operation Instructions

The Furniture Lift System can be used in three modes of operations:

1.    The Jack by itself via the spine on the panels.

2.    The Jack with the Universal Lift Bracket to lift from underneath the panels.

3.     The Jack with the Universal Lift Bracket and the special U-adapter to lift from underneath the panels with electrical conduit.

Mode1--Using the Jack alone

Using a one-push lift and lock mechanism, the Panel Lift maintains a secure panel height, all in three steps:

  1. Loosen the locking knob on the main Jack's shaft.
  2. Insert the lip retainer into an interconnect slot on the panel frame while making sure that the Jack's base is flat on the ground -Tighten the locking knob.
  3. Grasp the Furniture Lift's lever firmly with one hand and push the lever down. Your panel is lifted to a 1-1/4" and when released  is automatically locked at a height of 7/8".

Mode 2 and 3--Using the Jack with the Universal Lift Bracket

Conversion is simple:

  1. Slide the Aluminum Ring Guide that is part of the Universal Lift Bracket over the pin on the base of the Jack.  Attach the Jack's lever to the existing slot on the channel ( there are two slots on the channel, choose the one that corresponds with the needed height).
  2. Insert the horizontal portion of the "L" shape of the Universal Bracket underneath the horizontal bottom bar of the modular panel  and lift.  Please note that the Jack's lip retainer may need adjustment in height via the locking knob on the base of the Jack- Please refer to Mode 1 of use of Jack.
  3. For panels with electrical conduit underneath, please use the provided U-shape adapter.

Panel Shim

When there is no room to remove the carpet under the panel system the Panel  Shim  plays a big role in reducing the Jack's usage time.  Panel Shims are made of hard plastic, which will not deform under the load and are completely resistant to the natural elements. When inserted beneath the panel foot and on top of the newly laid carpet tile, it allows the  installer to move from point to point with the Panel Jack.

Staggered height construction (1/2", 3/4", and 1") allows the panel to rest at a choice of three floor to foot spacing.

To replace old carpet:

  1. Lift and shim underneath every supporting  foot.
  2. Remove old carpet or carpet tiles off all clear areas.
  3. Use the Universal Bracket to lift the furniture while resting the Jack on the newly laid carpet as close as possible to the old carpet tile underneath the foot.   Remove the old carpet tile and replace it with the new carpet tile. Put the staggered shim beneath the foot and atop the newly tiled area.
  4. Repeat above steps till finished tiling the rest of old tiles under feet.
  5. Lift and remove all shims
