     Quality Contract Manufacturing, Inc. is the new corporate name for A-1 United Machine Works.  The original company was established in 1992 to serve the machine shop services need of Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park areas of central North Carolina.  Our scope has widened to include customers throughout the U.S.   Beside  serving  customers with machine shop services  and fabrication needs, we are now offering our own  line of proprietary products to fill the requirements of Office Installers such as  Panel Handling Carts and Furniture Lift Systems, and the needs of  Sign Makers such as the Negative Radius Corner Machine, and others...

    Our new name better reflects our corporate mission, which is to provide our existing and new customers with a wider range of both contract manufacturing and machine shop services.  This mission, coupled with our long history of success, ensures that you, the customer will receive products and services that are second to none.

Since our inception in 1992, we have continued to grow and thrive because of our commitment to one simple vision: to be THE premier resource for precision manufacturing of a large variety of metal and composite products. Our Quality

    Our 27,000 square feet facility houses our machine and tool design center, a fully equipped machine shop, and a large fabrication and production facility.
